In this week’s episode, I speak to Karen Buchanan, CEO at McCann Manchester.
Join us whilst we talk about the fear of being rejected and how to have the confidence to be yourself.
Karen also speaks beautifully of her experience with grief while going through menopause; the impact it had on her, the way it shaped how she lives and her leadership style.
Key takeaways include:
● How we need to equip leaders to navigate uncomfortable conversations
● Why we must be more in the present than focusing on the future
● How to grow your confidence and encourage confidence in others
Karen has a focus on driving connected creativity and digital innovation across McCann Manchester, driving growth for brands. Previous roles
include chair/CEO of Publicis London. Prior to Publicis she was managing director of independent London agency, The Red Brick Road.
Karen sits on the Advertising Association Board and served on the IPA Council for 12 years. She is an active member of WACL and a Board Trustee of Sported, a Sports for development charity.
